Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Kluso Labs LLC ("Kluso Labs," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Kluso Labs website and QA Inspector, including the QA Inspector Chrome extension and related services.

1. Information QA Inspector May Process

QA Inspector is designed to help users understand work across connected software development systems. Depending on the features you use and the services you connect, QA Inspector may process information such as:

  • Account and authentication information used to identify or authorize a user.
  • Contact information you provide directly to Kluso Labs.
  • Jira tickets, issue fields, relationships, planning information, and related work context.
  • Confluence pages, documentation, and related source material.
  • Slack messages and conversation context when a user uses supported Slack functionality.
  • Information, text, files, screenshots, images, or other material a user intentionally provides to QA Inspector.
  • Voice or transcription input when a user intentionally uses supported voice or transcription features.
  • Product settings, workspace preferences, layout choices, and other configuration information needed to preserve a user's chosen experience.
  • Content a user intentionally creates or edits in QA Inspector, such as document drafts or other saved work.
  • Technical information reasonably necessary to operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the service.

The specific information available to QA Inspector depends on the features a user chooses to use, the permissions granted, and the systems the user chooses to connect.

2. How We Use Information

Kluso Labs may use information processed through QA Inspector to:

  • Provide requested QA Inspector functionality.
  • Connect and analyze information across supported systems.
  • Surface missing context, risks, relationships, questions, and other work-related signals.
  • Support testing, documentation, planning, release, search, awareness, capture, sharing, and resolution workflows.
  • Deliver information to user-selected destinations when the user requests that action.
  • Authenticate users and manage product access.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve QA Inspector.
  • Where historical analytics features are enabled, retain limited information needed to measure trends, changes, time savings, and changes in work conditions over time.
  • Respond to support requests and communications.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and security of Kluso Labs, our users, and others.

3. Connected Services

QA Inspector may interact with third-party services such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, identity providers, payment providers, and other services that a user chooses to connect or use with QA Inspector.

Information obtained from a connected service is handled in connection with the functionality requested by the user and remains subject to applicable permissions, contractual obligations, platform requirements, and this Privacy Policy.

Third-party services also operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Kluso Labs does not control the independent privacy practices of those services.

4. Automated and AI-Assisted Processing

Some QA Inspector features may use automated or AI-assisted processing to analyze, organize, summarize, compare, classify, or otherwise help users understand information related to their work.

Automated results may be incomplete or inaccurate. QA Inspector is designed to assist users rather than replace professional judgment or a user's responsibility to verify important decisions.

5. Sharing of Information

Kluso Labs may share information only as reasonably necessary to operate QA Inspector, provide functionality requested by the user, work with service providers that support the service, comply with law, or protect legitimate rights and security interests.

QA Inspector may also send information to a third-party destination when a user intentionally selects that destination or requests that information be shared there.

Kluso Labs does not sell personal information or user workspace content for advertising purposes.

6. Data Retention

QA Inspector is designed to use project information when it is needed rather than permanently retain every ticket, page, conversation, or other source it encounters. Most working context associated with the ticket, page, or work currently being reviewed is temporary and is replaced or retrieved again as the user moves to different work.

Some information is retained when persistence is necessary to provide expected product functionality. This may include settings, workspace and layout preferences, account or access information, and work a user intentionally creates or edits, such as document drafts.

QA Inspector is also evolving to support historical Analytics & Impact functionality. Where those features are enabled, limited historical information may be retained when necessary to measure trends, changes, time savings, and whether work conditions are improving or declining over time.

Kluso Labs does not intend to retain project information simply because QA Inspector encountered it. Retention is based on whether the information is necessary to provide an ongoing feature, preserve user-created state, support legitimate business or security needs, or comply with legal obligations.

Information stored in or sent to a connected third-party service may also remain subject to that service's own retention practices and policies.

7. Security

Kluso Labs uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information handled through QA Inspector. No method of electronic storage, processing, or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own accounts, devices, credentials, connected services, and access permissions.

8. User Choices and Requests

Users can control many categories of information available to QA Inspector by choosing which features to use, which systems to connect, and which permissions to grant.

To ask a privacy question or request assistance relating to personal information associated with Kluso Labs, contact support@klusolabs.com.

9. Children's Privacy

QA Inspector is a professional software-development tool and is not directed to children. Kluso Labs does not knowingly design QA Inspector for use by children under 13.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as QA Inspector, our business, or applicable requirements change. When we make material updates, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page and provide additional notice when required.
